At the same time, you need to be able to measure two diameters vertically in different directions, and then use the data of four measurements to calculate the average diameter value. As for the numerical calculation of the ellipticity of stainless steel wire rope, it is necessary to subtract any two values of these four measurements. Of course, this is a traditional inspection method, although the operation may be relatively complex, but the accuracy is high, and the cost of testing equipment is relatively low.
In addition, the current measuring instrument for inspecting the diameter of the wire rope also has a diameter measuring instrument, which can directly measure the diameter of the wire rope without contacting the measured object. The device is the use of the principle of laser beam, detection range between 1-80mm. If the halogen beam detector is used, the test range can be between 0-25mm, and you can choose the instrument according to the test range.
