It is strictly prohibited to use the new stainless steel wire rope directly under high speed heavy load:
The new wire rope should not be used immediately under high speed and heavy load conditions, but should run for a period of time under low speed and medium load conditions, so that the new wire rope first adapt to the use of the state, and then gradually improve the running speed of the wire rope, improve the load. In other words, the wire rope must be initially run in before high speed and heavy duty operation.
Second, strictly prohibit wire rope job-hopping:
When using wire rope and pulley, care must be taken to prevent the wire rope from jumping out of the wheel groove. If the wire rope is still in use after leaving the wheel groove, the wire rope will be deformed, kinked, broken and broken. This will seriously shorten the service life of the wire rope. If the rope is broken, it usually has very serious consequences.
Violent shock and vibration are strictly prohibited:
When the wire rope is used, if the operating speed changes rapidly, the impact load will be generated. Although it may only load instantaneously, it lacks a significant security risk. When the impact load exceeds the allowable working stress of the wire rope, the impact damage. Even if the impact load does not necessarily cause the wire rope to break, multiple impacts can seriously shorten the service life of the wire rope. For ropes that have been used for a while, due to poor elasticity, impact resistance will be reduced compared to new ropes.
Fourth, strictly prohibit steel wire rope extrusion deformation:
The wire rope can not be strongly extruded during use to avoid the deformation of the wire rope, resulting in structural damage, early wire breakage (martensitic brittle layer organization), broken strands and even broken ropes, which significantly reduces the service life of the wire rope and endangers work safety.
5. When the wire rope is running at high speed, it is forbidden to friction with other objects:
When the wire rope is running at high speed, it should avoid friction with other objects outside the mismatched wheel groove. Because at high speeds, the instantaneous friction heat between the wire rope and these objects may cause martensitic tissue to appear on the surface of the wire. Although this structural change cannot be distinguished by the naked eye, it is the main reason for the early fracture of the steel wire.
Six, prohibit wire rope scattered winding:
When wrapped around the reel, the wire rope should be arranged as neatly as possible. If dispersed and twisted, the wire rope structure will be damaged by squeezing each other during operation, resulting in early wire breakage, which directly affects the service life of the wire rope.
Seven, it is strictly prohibited to use the wire rope overload:
If the wire rope is overloaded, the degree of extrusion deformation will increase rapidly, and the degree of wear between the inside and outside steel wire and the matching wheel groove will seriously damage its work safety and shorten the service life of the pulley.
Eight, strictly control the running speed:
The lower the running speed, the less damage to the stainless steel wire rope. With the acceleration of the running speed, the damage to the wire rope also increases correspondingly. Therefore, sharp changes in speed, sudden and severe load and severe braking should be avoided during operation to reduce damage to the wire rope. The service life of the wire rope is much higher than the medium running speed
